Nerd Builds: HG Neo Japan G Gundam

Yesterday and today I've been on a detailing building binge since it's been my first real week of vacation where I've had really nothing to do. So today's nerd build is Neo Japan's G Gundam from the G Gundam series. This is personally one of my favorite Gundams and one of my favorite Gundam animated series. So this high grade model was more of a labor of love than anything and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

I started with the torso.

The head

This Gundam has one of the coolest looking head and v-fin designs, but you gotta shave down the extra plastic.

Arms

Second reason why this Gundam is cool is because the arm has claws.

Be careful of the stickers for these shoulder pieces. I had a really hard time lining them up.

The kit also comes with two sabers and some glowing hands for when you transform it into hyper mode for the Erupting Burning Fingers technique, and the wings on the back are actually a core lander jet type unit. This is just a greatly designed kit and with the exception of a couple of stickers is awesome fun to build. Not to mention it's meant to be a melee fighting Gundam so the martial arts glowing fingers and its ability to transform into hyper mode is just the coolest. It should be a must build for any Gunpla enthusiast! I highly recommend it!
