Lego Nerd: Hulkbuster Smash

I hope that everyone has had a chance to watch Avengers: Age of Ultron by now. One of my favorite scenes was when the Iron Man takes on the Hulk in the Hulkbuster. So when I saw that there was a Lego set based off the epic battle, I just had to build it (thanks again to my cousin James for picking this up for me. The Hulkbuster when completed is so legit. And any Lego set that comes with a Hulk figure is automatically awesome. Also for the price point of $30, I would say that this is the best Lego set of the Age of Ultron line. Would definitely recommend this one as a pick up. Have fun!

The Hulk is pissed at Scarlet Witch.

Wondercon 2014: Mark Waid

Today my showcase is on Eisner award winning writer for my favorite comic Mark Waid. Mark writes the stories for Daredevil and the Indestructible Hulk (which is now just "Hulk"). His autograph was the very first thing that Mrs. Nerd and I went for when we got to Wondercon on Saturday afternoon. He wasn't there on the day before but it was scheduled for him to appear Saturday so when we got to his station, he wasn't there yet, but there was already a line starting to create a fire hazard. So in anticipation for his arrival, we jumped in line and waited for about 45 minutes.
Mark Waid and I at his signing booth. He loves his fans!
