Wondercon 2014: Day 3 (Easter Day!)

The third day of Wondercon was Easter Day so we started off the day at the convention center late, but for good reason. Easter commemorates the day Jesus was resurrected and therefore had be victorious over sin and death for eternity. So we start off with some pictures from church, but end with just a bit more swag.

 Finally we got to Wondercon with a couple hours to spare and ran into some familiar faces!

The next couple of pictures were in response to some people who were outside holding up big yellow signs with "encouragingly evangelistic" slogans on them. Anyone who knows me knows my stance on introducing Christ to people who don't know Him via signs. But yea these pictures take advantage of the sign holders' ignorance.

Yes it was a misappropriation for the sake of sales, but he was telling the truth on both accounts.

I'm not sure if Jesus would approve of every costume, but in general yea I also think this is true.

We ended our day at Lucille's and look! I've never seen anyone actually take meat out of the smoker!

Lastly, I leave you with the last of our purchases from Wondercon 2014...You were good to us Wondercon, thanks for the memories, Thank God for the provisions to enjoy, and here's to hoping we have another Wondercon in Anaheim next year!
