Lego Nerd: The Milano Spaceship Rescue

Today I am featuring Starlord's spaceship, the Milano, from Guardians of the Galaxy Movie. The likeness to the movie is pretty incredible, and Lego really goes all out to make the pieces that fit to really drive home the point that... this is a beautiful ship. It even comes with some stickers. The and the build was an absolute blast. It took a few attempts as you can see it is almost 700 pieces, so I built it a bag at a time. but it comes with great figures (Starboard, Gamora, Drax, Ronan and a minion. A little pricier than the last set coming in at $62.99 on Amazon, but worth every brick. If you have the cash definitely nab this one!

A great set

Minion ship
First bag completes the inner cockpit
Second back finishes outer cockpit.
First wing done.
Second wing done.

Cockpit hatch attached and we're done!
Angled view
Top down view
All air brakes deployed and Drax with the big ol' gun
I must've played with this set for a good 2 hours while singing the Blue Suede song "Hooked On A Feeling" to the chagrin of my wife. But just look at it. It screams Starboard and Guardians of the Galaxy's bright intergalactic style. The colors just pop. and when you spread its wings you see that Marvel did a great job conceptualizing the ship and so did Lego in brick form. Enjoy this build and turn on the Guardians soundtrack while you do it to put the cherry on top.

Blessings~!
