Last we saw of Marc Spector, he had just pretty much wiped out major crime on the West Coast before succumbing his multiple personalities of Captain America, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Now he's resurfaced back in New York moonlighting as rich playboy crime scene investigator, but still has Khonshu the Egyptian God tagging along in his mind. The art and paneling is brilliant in this first issue. Warren Ellis is writing the story and since he has a bit of a legendary status of his own, the writing is obviously quite brilliant.
In this issue, Moon Knight doesn't even don the famous superhero spandex with crescent moon cape, but he rolls up in a white limo and awesome white suit. He expertly advises on the crime scene, then proceeds to track down the body part stealing monster and dealing with him quite handily.
Boom. One hand block and ricochet off moon throwing star back into shooter. Like. A. Boss. |
"Even in laughter the heart may ache,So if none are perfect and everyone's broken in some way, aren't we all worthy of a little break every once in awhile? Give it a thought. Even superheroes need a break now and then.
and rejoicing may end in grief."
