Hello nerds, we'll end the week with the build of the Super Deformed Justice Gundam from the Gundam Seed series. Athrun Zala's beefed up mobile suit was one that I expected to be awesome, but the older SD design and lack of color detail really hamper the fun on the build. Luckily difficulty was not a factor on this build.
Box art looks cool right? |
the manual makes it look like there are so many colors on this model. |
But it's really limited. Don't be fooled, the colors stickers that I applied |
the head unit |
torso unit |
shoulders and arms |
waist unit |
feet |
the legs were one piece each...looked like sticks for legs |
the flyer unit |
Once again, the colors are just leaving something to be desired. |
I would not build this SD unless you don't care about it looking terribly plain, or you are super pro and you are expecting to paint the heck out of this model. Otherwise, you will be sorely disappointed by the lack of consistency from the box art/manual to the actual model. Hopefully Bandai will reboot the Seed models because they are quite dated now.
Blessings~!
